Technician Trainee (Mechanical)
- Full time & regular Three Years’ Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). or b) The Candidates with HSC(Science) and direct admission to second year/ 3rd Semester of Three Years’ Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973) The one-year training (BOAT) should necessarily be completed after passing Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/Technology.
OR
- 4 years’ (Eight Semesters) or 3½ years’ (Seven Semesters) full time & regular Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/ Technology under Sandwich pattern. Pay Scale / Salary for RCFL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023
- Trainees (Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electrical) will be absorbed in Grade II- (A6) after completion of one year training] (Pay scale Rs.22000 - 60000) the Gross Salary will be ₹ 43,076 (Approx.) which includes Basic Pay + VDA (34.8%) + Perks (34%) + HRA (27% for class A cities/applicable rates for other places).
Selection Process for RCFL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023
- The selection process for the positions in worker’s category of Technician (Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electrical) Trainee comprises of Online Test and Trade Test.
- The online test will have two parts, Discipline related and Aptitude related. Duration of test will be ninety (90) minutes. The total number of questions will be 100, each, out of which 50 questions would be from mix of course curriculum of qualifying degree / diploma / relevant qualification of relevant discipline of two marks each and 50 questions from General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & General Knowledge / Awareness of one mark each. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. The level of the domain subject will be as applicable for each post.

Application fees for RCFL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023
Non - refundable application fee of Rs. 700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred only) plus Bank Charges and applicable taxes (GST) for the posts in Unionized category are required to be paid by General, OBC and EWS category candidates at the time of submission of online application form. Candidates can opt to pay either through internet banking account or credit/ debit card. No other mode of payment of application fee would be accepted. Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are, therefore, advised to verify their eligibility before payment of application fee.
- For Others/ OBC / EWS/ General Candidates : Rs. 700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred only) plus Bank Charges and applicable taxes (GST)
- SC/ST/PwBD/ExSM/Female category candidates are not required to pay any application fee

- Candidates to go to the RCF website HR ⇒ RECRUITMENT- click on the option "APPLY ONLINE" which will open a new screen.
- To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name and Email-id. OTP will be sent to the Email – ID mentioned in the registration details
- Candidate has to select LOGIN tab and enter Registered Email – ID as username and OTP as password.
