- Candidate Should have BE / B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/Production/ Industrial Production Engg./ Aeronautical/Aerospace Engg./ Electricals & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation/Telecom Engg. / Computer Science / Computer Engg./ Information Science & Technology Engg. / Metallurgy/ Material science / Civil Engg. or Equivalent from Recognized University Institute for DRDO GTRE Recruitment 2022
Diploma Apprentice Trainees
- A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Educational established by a State Government/ by a University / by an Institute in Mechanical/Production/ Tool & Die design / Electrical& Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Computer Science / Engg./Computer Networking from recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma.
- Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he/ she may hold a diploma in Engg./Technology.
ITI Apprentice Trainees
- Candidate Should have a certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education.
- A sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold a certificate mentioned in official website
Graduate Apprentice Trainees (General Stream)
- Candidate have Graduation Degree in B.Com / B. Sc. (Chemistry/Physics/Maths/ Electronics/Computer etc.,) / B.A. (English/ History/Finance/ Banking etc.,)

Training Period
- The tenure of the Apprenticeship for the above categories /trades would be 12 months commencing from execution of the contract of Apprenticeship.
Stipend / Salary
Candidates finally selected for the Apprenticeship Training would be eligible for
stipend as given below as per Govt. of India rules:
- Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech./Eqvt.) : Rs.9000/-per month
- Diploma Apprentice : Rs.8000/-per month
- ITI Apprentice : Rs.7000/-per month
- Non Engineering - General Stream Graduate Apprentice (B.Com./ B.Sc. / B.A) : Rs.9000/-per month
How To Apply
- Registration of BE/B.Tech./Diploma (Engineering) & General Stream - B.Com. /B.Sc. /B.A (Non Engineering) candidates on (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and ITI candidates on Apprenticeship portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.org) is mandatory. Kindly see respective websites for registration. The registration no. is to be uploaded while filling the online application.
- For B.E / B.Tech. / Diploma (Engineering) Apprentice Trainees & General Stream - B.Com. /B.Sc. / B.A (Non Engineering) Apprentice Trainees only; Candidates who have passed in the year 2019/2020/2021 (last three years) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam earlier than 2019 are not eligible.
- ITI Apprentice Trainees only; Candidates must have completed ITI from NCVT or SCVT Board.

Selection Process
- Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B.E / B.Tech. / Equivalent); Diploma Apprentice Trainees / ITI Apprentice Trainees / General Stream (B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A) Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents,
