Selection Process
- The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2021/2020/2019 (score with which applied), Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
- Eligible candidates should have appeared for the corresponding paper i.e Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/ Information Technology.
- Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category wise (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH candidates, if in merit of UR without availing any relaxations except Application Fee shall be considered UR category candidate) for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks (out of 100) in GATE Exam.
- Candidates shall be able to obtain information about their application status & other related information through candidate login at the SJVN Online Application System and/or through registered email ID.
- Candidates shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Interview shall be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter.
- Weightage of Different Parameters For calculation of final score of a candidate, the weightages of marks obtained in GATE, Group Discussion and Interview shall be as indicated below:
- GATE marks out of 100 - 75%
- Group Discussion - 10%
- Personal Interview - 15%
PLACEMENT - The engaged candidates can be placed anywhere in India or abroad, in any of the functions at Project/Stations or offices of SJVN.
