Job Description
Purpose:
- As a ML Engineer, you will support software Developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery & ML architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
- This role will be supporting large scale ML solutions such as PPW, innovation forecast, Smart Duration etc for PFNA
Accountabilities:
- Implement techniques to acquire, discover and explore data for analytics
- POC / POV and prototyping data and analytics solutions and derive viability
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security and completeness throughout the data lifecycle
- Define data validation strategies, pre-processing and feature engineering strategies
- Test/train and fine tune models and deployment of models in production
- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and business use cases and translating data into metrics, KPI, and solutions
- Develop deep understanding of the data sources, implement data standards, maintain data quality and master data management
- Design and develop data services and API
- Build and meet project timelines and manage delivery commitments with proper communication to stakeholders
- Collaborate and communicate with key business lines, technology partners, vendors and architects
Qualifications/Requirements
Year of Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science/ Statistical Modelling & Analysis/Operations Research
- At least 4+ years of development experience in Python
- 2+ years of strong experience into Data Engineering
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong in Data Preparation and Data Wrangling Techniques
- Solid understanding of python libraries for machine learning
- Good understanding of Machine Learning tools & techniques
- Should be able interpret and understand machine learning algorithms
- Strong programming background and should be able to design and deliver solutions quickly
- Exposure to bigdata technologies like spark, pyspark, scala and streaming
- Past working experience on a fast paced and agile environment
- Hands-on experience with MS Azure cloud
Mandatory Non-Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of Hyperautomation (AI/ML, etc)
- Have good understanding of process analysis, requirements gathering and programming background
- Have good understanding of Governance, Control, Sustain & change management procedures
Differentiating skills:
- Must be a team player, ability to work to balance between multiple deliverables.
