Indian Statistical Institute, an Institute of National Importance under the aegis of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoS&PI), GoI, invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment in the following vacant posts for its Headquarters in Kolkata and other Outlying Centres,Branch and Units

Educational Qualification post details

1. Engineer (Electrical) - 03 posts - A good BE or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience - Two years’ experience is desirable

2. Engineering Assistant (Civil) - 04 posts - Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with a diploma of at least 3 years of duration in the relevant subject and one year’s practical experience.

3. Engineering Assistant (Electrical) - 03 posts - Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with a diploma of at least 3 years of duration in the relevant subject and one year’s practical experience. Supervisor’s License (Electrical) will be required.

4. Electrician A Vacancy - 15 posts - School Final or equivalent with ITI certificate or equivalent and with permit equivalent to Electrical Wireman’s class (i) (b), (ii), (iii), (iv).

5. Operator Cum Mechanic (Lift) - 09 posts - Class VIII with ITI certificate of trade of electrician or equivalent or School Final or equivalent. Shall possess lift operator’s license and permit equivalent to Electrical Wireman’s Class (i) (b), with at least five years’ experience in routine maintenance and operation of lifts in a reputed Institution/Company.

Engineering Assistant (Civil) - Pay Scale:- ₹ 35,400/- – ₹ 1,12,400/- in Pay Level 6
Engineering Assistant (Electrical) - Pay Scale: - ₹ 35,400/- – ₹ 1,12,400/- in Pay Level 6
Electrician A Vacancy - Pay Scale:- ₹ 21,700/- – ₹ 69,100/- in Pay Level 3
Operator Cum Mechanic (Lift) - Pay Scale :- ₹ 21,700/- – ₹ 69,100/- in Pay Level 3
