Education Qualification:-
For Assistant Engineer :
BE/ B. Tech/ B.Sc. Degree in Civil/ Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering. or Equivalent Degree from recognized institute with not lessna than 60% marks for PSTCL
Recruitment 2021.
Junior Engineer: Full-time regular 3
or 4 years Diploma in Civil/
Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/
Electronics/Telecommunication
Engineering recognized/ approved by
State/Central Government Board,
with a minimum of 60% marks. OR
BE/ B. Tech/ B.Sc Engineeringin
Civil/Electrical/Electrical
&
Electronics/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent degree
recognized/ approved by AICTE. OR AMIE in Civil/Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering with at least 50% marks from IES, Kolkata
Telephone Mechanic:
Full-time regular 3 or 4 years Diploma in Electronics/Communication
Engineering recognized/ approved by
State/ Central Government Board,
with a minimum of 50% marks for

Upper Age Limits: Eligibility of age
limit as of 01.01.2021 for Assistant
Engineer, Assistant Manager (1T)
will be 20 to 37 years, and Eligibility
of age limit as Junior Engineer &
Telephone Mechanic will be 18 to
37 years. The upper age limit is
relaxable five years for SC/ST and
Backward Class applicants for
PSTCL Recruitment 2021.
