Educational Qualification for NARL Recruitment 2021
Scientist / Engineer ‘SC’
- Graduate Degree in Engineering or Technology in any of the following or their equivalent fields : Electronics and Communication / Electronics / Electronics and Computer / Electronics and Control / Electronics and Communication System / Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics and Telecommunication / Electronics and Telematics / Industrial Electronics / Telecommunication / Telecommunication and Information Technology / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics and Electrical Communication / Electrical with Communication / Radio Physics and Electronics / Electronics and Communication (Avionics) with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA Grade as declared by University and above.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- First Class or equivalent CGPA Grade as declared by University in Post- Graduate degree in the following subjects :
- Physics / Atmospheric Science / Space Physics / Meteorology / Applied Chemistry / Geophysics / Earth System Science or equivalent with Physics or Atmospheric Science or Space Physics or Meteorology as core subjects OR
- Any specialization of Electronics Engineering / Communication Engineering / Optical Engineering / Photonics / Instrumentation Engineering. AND
- Qualified in CSIR-UGC NET / GATE / JAM / JEST
Upper Age Limit For NARL Recruitment 2021
- Age Limit for Post Code – 01 and Post Code – 02 is 35 years and 28 years respectively as on last date of receipt of applications.
- Note : Relaxation in maximum age limit is applicable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD), Ex-Servicemen, OBC and SC/ST as per Govt. of India orders.
Pay scale / Salary For NARL Recruitment 2021
- Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹.56,100/- p.m. In addition, eligible / admissible Allowances are payable as per Rules in vogue from time to time. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme.

- The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the NARL website between 30.10.2021 (10:00 Hrs IST) to 29.11.2021 (23:59 Hrs IST). The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may apply duly following the procedure stated.
- Academic credentials along with Photo are to be uploaded along with the application. Candidate(s) should be ready to submit uploaded credentials in support of educational qualification, age, category etc. at the time of interview, failing which candidature will summarily be rejected.
- Candidates have also to personally upload his/her relevant experience in the desired field, Awards/ Scholarship / Official Appreciation / Affiliation with the professional bodies/ institutions/societies in a single pdf file in such a way that the size of the file does not exceed 5 MB.
- Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily. The last date for submitting on-line application is 29.11.2021. All further communications or any change will be made to the applicants through e-mail / NARL website only. Therefore, the applicants are advised to check his/her e-mail and visit the NARL website from time to time invariably.
